Best Western Rewards Receives Top Honors From Loyalty 360

For the second year in a row Best Western International’s guest loyalty program, Best Western Rewards®, brought home top honors at Loyalty360’s annual Loyalty Expo in Orlando.

Best Western Rewards earned the North American 360-Degree Platinum Award and an additional platinum award for Best Customer Insight in Loyalty Marketing. BWI also won gold awards in the categories of Best Creative Campaign and Best Use of Technology and Trends in Loyalty Marketing.

Loyalty360, one of the marketing industry’s most respected voices in customer loyalty, accepted applications from nearly 100 loyalty programs across numerous industries for this second annual awards. Nominations were judged by a panel of loyalty industry experts. Categories included customer engagement, use of technology, and leveraging the voice of the consumer in loyalty marketing.

A number of Best Western’s innovative loyalty and customer experience initiatives, including its Be a Travel Hero social media promotion and its “Get Zapped with Zendaya Zweepstakes,” were included in the evaluation by the judges. “Get Zapped with Zendaya Zweepstakes” was a program that utilized cutting-edge augmented reality technology to let customers engage with Disney Channel star Zendaya through their mobile phone and then share the experience on social media. Both initiatives led to successful results by engaging with loyalty members and creating engaging customer experiences.

The Loyalty360 awards come right on the heels of receiving other significant accolades such achievingBest of the Web recognition for the fourth consecutive year and ranking top three in Overall Customer Satisfaction with Hotel Loyalty/Rewards Programs by J.D. Power.
