Beverly Wilshire, A Four Seasons Hotel, And Jason Of Beverly Hills Present A “Pretty Woman” Experience
As part of the 25th anniversary of the international blockbuster hit and cultural phenomenon Pretty Woman,Beverly Wilshire, A Four Seasons Hotel has partnered with Jason of Beverly Hills to offer guests the opportunity to re-live moments and view some of the film’s memorabilia at the very same hotel where the movie was set.
Jewelry Designer Jason Arasheben, CEO of Jason of Beverly Hills, was commissioned for the silver anniversary of the now timeless tale to create a necklace inspired by the beautiful piece worn in the film. The “Lady in Red” necklace is valued at USD 500,000 and is comprised of 351 round brilliant white diamonds and 27 natural rubelites, which were meticulously set onto 83 grams of 18 karat white gold. With a total carat weight of 43.20 carats of white diamonds and more than 105 carats of rubelite, it took nearly six months to produce the masterpiece. Each stone was carefully selected for its optimal brilliance and quality, and the necklace was assembled by hand in the movie’s celebrated hometown of Los Angeles.
The necklace is currently on display at Beverly Wilshire as part of the Hotel’s selection of Pretty Woman-themedexperiences. Also included in the exhibit is a stunning replica of the gorgeous red gown worn during the memorable jewelry box scene, the script from the movie, a pair of opera glasses, and the original letter from the General Manager of Beverly Wilshire during the film shoot to director Gary Marshall congratulating him and Touchstone Pictures on the success of the film. An iPad is conveniently located next to the display for guests to snap photos and instantly share with friends and family via social media.
