Flight Centre Travel Group’s hotel management company BHMA now offers its complete range of property types in Phuket with the launch of new hotel Away Phuket Le Coral.
BHMA announced today the signing of a hotel management agreement with Coral Executive Resort Co Ltd, paving the way for the first Away resort property in the southern region of Thailand.
The company now has all three of its hotel brands – X2, X2 Vibe and Away – operating in the key destination.
Away Phuket Le Coral is located in Natai Beach area of Phang Nga Province, only 40-minute drive from Phuket International Airport.
It offers guests the experience of unspoilt nature and a beautiful, peaceful and relaxing atmosphere complete with private beach stretching along the Mangrove Forest Reserve.
Managing Director of BHMA, Kent Davidson, said it was an excellent development for the company to now have all of its property brands represented in the thriving visitor destination.
“We are excited to be launching our first Away property in Phuket, joining two properties BHMA rebranded there in the last eight months – the X2 Vibe Phuket Patong and BYD Lofts Boutique Hotel and Serviced Apartment by X2.
“This announcement further reinforces that we are reaching our stated aims of identifying key markets and getting results,’’ Mr Davidson said.
“The arrival of Away Phuket Le Coral highlights one of BHMA’s key strategies of increasing our presence in key visitor destinations and gateway cities,’’ he said.
CEO of BHMA, Peter Lucas, said the property was a natural fit for the brand.
“Away Phuket Le Coral is another exciting step for company, flagging our Away brand in a world-class destination like Phuket after the debut of Away in Bali with the launch of Away Bali Legian in December last year,’’ Mr Lucas said.
“The property perfectly embodies the brand philosophy of ‘Escape Everyday Life’ ticking the boxes of luxury accommodation and an ideal location.
“We have great confidence in driving this stunning property to grow with the brand and deliver the memorable Away experience to guests,’’ he said.
Currently operating as Le Coral Hideaway Beyond Phuket Resort, the hotel features 58 suites with every room offering stunning sea and sunset views. The tranquil retreat includes nature inspired designer rooms, spectacular sea view infinity pool, restaurant, bar, spa and adventure experiences such as island tour, virgin jungle treks and rafting along scenic lakes and river.
The agreement will be effective from May 1, 2019 with the rebranding scheduled for completion by August 1, 2019.
BHMA currently operates 24 hotels across three distinct brands in Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia. Away Phuket Le Coral will be the seventh Away property after the recently-rebranded Away in Bali and Pranburi, Thailand.
