Big4 Deniliquin Holiday Park To Give Away Whole Park For One Weekend

Is your community group in need of a weekend away?  Looking for somewhere to host a big family reunion?  Would a two night retreat help get your sporting team or club focused?

Everyone needs a holiday but organising a short break away with friends, team mates, extended family or staff can be expensive and hard to organise. That’s why BIG4 Deniliquin Holiday Park is giving away the entire park to one large group for the weekend for free!

Applications are now open for Deniliquin BIGgest Weekend, where one lucky group of up to 333 people will win the use of the multi award winning BIG4 Deniliquin Holiday Park from Friday 11 to Sunday 13 October, 2013.

Park owners, Frank and Lynda White, together with business partners Bruce and Glenys Catto, are calling on all large groups from sporting clubs and youth groups to community groups or large families seeking a reunion to enter by visiting BIG4 Deniliquin Holiday Park’s Facebook page (www.facebook.com/big4deniliquin). All they need to do is submit the reason their group deserves a break in 100 words or less.

Frank and Lynda holidayed in the park every summer as teenagers, enjoying afternoons on the river water skiing and swimming before becoming proud owners of the park in 2001.  Since then they have invested many hours of hard work into their dream, helping put the small town of Deniliquin and the Riverina region on the radar. Now the couple want to offer the whole park to a deserving group for a weekend away to relax, unwind and enjoy some quality time together.

“We want to share the amazing holiday experience we’ve built with a group that could really do with a break or perhaps use it as a team building getaway,” said Frank.

“We’re looking forward to putting on some extra activities. Whether that’s a pancake breakfast, karaoke night or a river cruise on our pontoon boat, we want to create the ultimate holiday for a group that otherwise wouldn’t get the chance to enjoy a holiday,” added Frank.

The park boasts a large, modern conference facility and a huge range of activities for all guests including an impressive offering for kids. Guests big and small can choose from a swim in the park’s two solar heated pools, a game of mini golf, a bounce on the giant jumping pillow, a spin on the Go-Karts or a hit of tennis before settling in for an outdoor movie if the weather’s good.

For the real adventure seekers, the park is the perfect spot to test waterskiing skills or reel in dinner before cooking it on the park’s BBQs. The parks pontoon boat is also available for river cruises and fishing or you can tow your own boat from home and use the park’s ramp to launch for a day exploring the Edward River.

The riverfront accommodation offers guests a choice of 22 luxury cabins, including a wheel chair friendly cabin, along with 35 powered caravan sites, all up for grabs as part of Deniliquin’s BIGgest Weekend.

To enter, visit www.facebook.com/big4deniliquin. Entries close Monday 9 September with the winning group announced on Friday 13 September and the weekend away to take place on the weekend of Friday 11 – 13 Sunday October.
