Adults can also access the Macleay River to go fishing, canoeing, kayaking, windsurfing, sailing or swimming.
BIG4 Sunshine’s owner, Tony Mayne, says that the aim of the ‘Back to Family Basics’ week is to provide activities so that the family can get involved and spend fun time together.
“For the time poor, holidays are when the families get to re-connect,” said Mr Mayne. “Parents who come to our Holiday Park want to engage in family activities and play with their kids, which is why we’ve designed activities such as Retro Races and ‘Hunt around the Rocks’, an old Treasure Hunt activity which allows families to discover the destination, while also having fun together.
“South West Rocks is a beautiful destination with top class beaches and fascinating history, so we bring the destination into the holiday experience.”
