Bill Rancic is a successful entrepreneur, restaurateur and author with a thirst for storytelling. Marriott’s Content Studio is an industry leader in producing engaging, original content that brings to life the interesting and rewarding possibilities of travel to communities around the world.
Today, the two sides announce a development deal for Rancic to co-create programming and content in the food & beverage, small business and travel arenas exclusively for Marriott’s Content Studio.
As part of the development deal, Marriott’s Content Studio also announces the green light of two projects starring Rancic – a travel documentary set in Venice, Italy, and a six-part short-form digital series centered around small businesses and motivated individuals in the heart of America. Beginning production in this Summer, both shows are slated for a global, multiplatform premiere in Fall 2016 via a multi-platform distribution strategy, including digital video platforms, owned channels including Marriott.com, in-room and partner channels. Throughout production, Rancic & Marriott’s social media platforms will share behind-the-scenes content in real-time from the following two projects:
- Travel Documentary: Join Bill Rancic and his family as they travel, eat and play throughout beautiful Venice, Italy on their way to the JW Marriott Venice Resort & Spa, settled on its own private island, Isola delle Rose. On the adventure, Rancic serves as host, introducing viewers to food, sights and sounds of the city and hotel while also telling the tales of the people he meets along the way.
- Six-Part Small Business Series: As the successful owner of RPM Steak and RPM Italian in Chicago, and the soon to open RPM Italian in Washington, D.C. (May 2016), Bill Rancic knows a thing or two about building a business. But, Rancic also knows that to be a success, you need a little support. In this short-form digital series, Rancic travels through the heart of America to locate up-and-coming small businesses that create lasting impact in the cities they call home. Whether it’s an emerging artist or rookie retailer, Rancic utilizes a team of advisors and Marriott resources to give these business and brands the boost they deserve.

In addition to creating and starring in original content, Rancic becomes an innovative and influential part of Marriott Content Studio’s goal of utilizing storytelling to reach next gen travelers; amplifying the travel experience for all guests. Rancic is expected to extend the partnership beyond content with speaking engagements and events across Marriott’s 19 hotel brands.
