In a show of appreciation, the Philippines has launched a global “Thank You” campaign around the world to express its gratitude for the outpouring of support following the devastating effects of Typhoon Haiyan which hit three months ago. Using print ads and billboards in iconic places – including the one seen here in Darlinghurst and through social media using #PHthankyou, the Philippines thanks all the people across the globe who have expressed sympathies and who have extended support, financial or otherwise. People everywhere are encouraged to use the hashtag #PHthankyou to continue sharing their support and appreciation.
