Rhodes Waterside is launching four weeks of ‘Make Yourself A Home’ homewares activites, kicking off on March 3 with the grand opening of Bing Lee’s newly relocated store at Rhodes. There will be huge prizes on offer and a month of inspiring home-focused workshops for customers.

Bing Lee will celebrate on March 3 and 4  by giving customers the chance to win a share of over $4,000 in prizes. A Bing Lee Cash Booth will be near the front of the store in centre, with customers invited to spend $50 in any Rhodes Waterside homewares retailer for a whirlwind 20 seconds in the cash booth, grabbing as many Bing Lee dollars as possible.  Customers can also pose in the giant TV set and post a picture on instagram with #homeatrhodes and #ilikebinglee for a chance to win a $2,500 Bing Lee shopping spree.

Reopening after 5 months of redevelopment and relocation, Bing Lee is now located on level 4 in a dynamic new store.

Mirvac Development Manager, Melissa Kaczmarek, commented, “We’re delighted to announce that Bing Lee has reopened at Rhodes Waterside. Their relocation is part of a long-term masterplan for Rhodes, which will also see the introduction of a new ALDI supermarket in the centre’s fresh food precinct later this year.

“We’re consistently gathering feedback and evaluating ways to improve convenience and experience in-centre to better service the needs of the Rhodes customer,” she said.

Bing Lee CEO, Lionel Lee, said, “We’re thrilled to be part of the grand development at Rhodes Waterside.

“Our new Bing Lee store will showcase an exciting two-level format for an extensive shopping experience. We’re proud to highlight our premium-ranging products and offer Rhodes residents all-new electrical appliances and technology.”

The month long ‘Make Yourself A Home’ workshops include colour theory; interior styling; learn how to make your own sustainable pallet planter boxes and concrete planters; smart storage; de-cluttering your home; hanging pot macrame; table styling; and furniture paining. Hosted by industry specialists, most workshops are free to attend and registrations are open now viahttp://www.rhodeswaterside.com.au/Events/Make-Yourself-a-Home/.

Initiatives such as ‘Make Yourself A Home’, along with a $13 million investment in development works, further solidify the centre’s position as a premium lifestyle destination in the Inner West, with over a dozen great dining options, cinemas, quality retailers, alongside great services and amenities, such as free Wi-Fi to allow customers to stay in touch while they shop.
