Blue Elephant and Village Farm & Winery presents special Wine Dinner

Blue Elephant’s Master Chef Nooror Somany Steppe will showcase innovative Thai cuisine to complement top recognized quality wines from Wang Nam Kiew-based Village Farm & Winery at a special Wine Dinner on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at Blue Elephant Restaurant on Sathorn Road.

Priced at THB 3,000 net per person, diners will have a rare opportunity to enjoy a 5-course Thai dinner featuring Som Tam Jerusalem Artichoke with Smoked Trout, Lobster with Mulberry, Coconut Crab Dip & Rice Crackers, Golden-necked Pheasant Curry and Lamb Rack & Lemongrass Pepper Sauce. The gastronomic climax of the menu will come in the form of Sang-kha-ya Avocado, Coconut Glutinous Sticky Rice with Thai Savory Topping and Mango Cheesecake.

Wines to be paired with these dishes include the very fine wines of Village Farm. Village Cellar, Chateau Des Brumes, Le Prestige, the star La Fleur 2005 and the Rose Ma Cherie. These wines have been painstakingly crafted by reputable French Wine Master, Mr. Jacques Bacou, to complement the spiciness of Thai food.
