Soneva Kiri is renowned for plating serving pristine hideaway beach luxury served with the finest gourmet delights, and April will be no different as the island resort presents a food and beverage feast for the senses.

The month of April sees Soneva elevate its culinary ambitions once more to explore new flavours and forage in fresh fields, beginning with British-born Chocolatier Fiona Sciolto, who is acclaimed for combining Italian verve with a passion for intrinsically English country flavours.

Her dreamily indulgent award-winning creations have aroused the most discerning palates, and she designed chocolates for charities linked to Prince Charles and Princess Alexandra while Christian Dior has also experienced her temptations.

She is famed for making the most of the surrounding locale’s ingredients, seasonality, and never using essences or flavourings. She will work with Soneva Kiri chefs to create a new menu of Koh Kood-foraged chocolate delights from 1-14 April.

Valentine Bourrié of Harlan Estate, a California-based winery producing Bordeaux blends, will be on hand from 7-11 April to ensure palates are pleased by some of the world’s best drops, while Soneva Kiri’s chefs ensure food and wine are perfectly matched.

April also sees the return of celebrated British charcutier Marc-Frederic Berry, the French-trained master of meat, who will once again be sharing his love and knowledge of beef and other meats, along with undertaking a ‘Journey to the Source’ to Chiang Mai in search of farmers who meet Soneva’s high standards of sustainable, organic and humane farming.

“It’s a most delicious line-up and I urge all friends of Soneva not to miss these unique flavours and sensations at Soneva Kiri,” said General Manager Frank Grassman.
