Meet Maola – Pet-in-Residence

Four Seasons Resort Whistler introduces its newest team member Maola, a three-month old Alaskan Malamute puppy. Named for the distinctive markings on her sweet face, Maola is a nickname that translates to “raccoon” in traditional Lil’wat language to honour the area’s First Nations heritage. Maola is living up to her naughty namesake by staying up all night, getting into mischief and her insatiable love of sock stealing.

Maola was chosen specifically to complement the friendly outdoor vibe of Four Seasons Resort Whistler. Alaskan Malamutes possess many great traits that make them ideal Whistler-friendly pets and Maola receives daily training to ensure she continues to develop into a friendly, calm Resort ambassador. For the next number of months, Maola will be making special appearances while she continues her training and acclimates to her new home and role.
