Bookings have opened at Vanuatu’s highly anticipated new four-star resort, Ramada Resort Port Vila as it gears up to open early next year.
The first Ramada-branded property to open in Vanuatu, the 80-room Ramada Resort Port Vila is nestled on the cliffs of Erakor Lagoon and will offer guests unobstructed views of the sandy white beaches and turquoise waters of Erakor Island.
Located just five minutes from the heart of Port Vila and ten minutes from Bauerfield International Airport, the AUD $30m resort development will offer studio rooms, as well as one and two-bedroom suites when it opens next year.
Ramada Resort Port Vila is now taking bookings for stays from 1 April 2017 and beyond, through its new website www.ramadaresort.com.vu and through wholesalers, travel agents and online travel agencies.
“We expect that the exceptional personalised service we will offer, coupled with our excellent location and in-built technology will be a big draw card for travellers. We very much look forward to welcoming our first guests,” said George Dechaineux, Managing Director of Ramada Resort Port Vila.
Currently under construction, the resort is also making excellent progress, with its roads and buildings close to completion. Forty-five Junior Suites are scheduled to be finished in the next week and will be fully furnished in the coming months.
A number of senior appointments have also been made recently, including Rooms Division Manager, Food and Beverage Manager, Operations Director and Financial Controller. Recruitment continues in Vanuatu and internationally for staff passionate about exceeding guest expectations.
When finished, the hotel will offer state-of-the-art facilities, including an onsite restaurant and three bars showcasing the finest local produce and ingredients, a swimming pool, a gym and four conference rooms that can cater for up to 140 guests.
Globally, the Ramada brand includes more than 840 hotels in more than 40 countries, including 22 hotels currently open and operating in the South Pacific.
The resort is offering an opening bonus of 5,000 VT resort credit per room and a generous opening special allowing guests to either pay for three nights to stay four, or pay five nights and stay seven.
