Booza Wooza and Dusit Thani Bangkok will host the next Fairground for the Wine-minded at 22 Restaurant & Bar on May 16th 2015. Following the success of the past two events, 5 of Bangkok’s coolest importers will showcase their best new wines from Austria, Australia, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, and Spain, supported by delicious tapas from Hawaiian-Chef Nikolas Ramirez and live tunes by the Feel Good Band.
Tickets for this casual and fun tasting are priced at THB 500 per person and include tastings of at least 50 wines. The event will feature boutique wineries from Global Vineyards, Italthai, It’s Riesling, Wine 5, and Wine Garage and is supported by Gerolsteiner Sparkling Mineral Water.
By popular demand, 3 new in-depth wine workshops will be organized, each a 60-minute exploration of grape, regional or winemaking differences conducted by winemaker or expert. Specifically, wine nerds will discover a range of highly-rated Dreissigacker from Rheinhessen; the varying communes of Barolo in Piedmont; and deeper understanding of modern Spanish wines.
Workshops range from THB 500 to THB 1,000 per person and are limited to 12 seats per session. Check out the full program on our Facebook page.
