Boryeong Mud Festival will be held in Korea from the 19th to the 28th of July this year for 10 days straight. It is the only festival where you can make your childhood dream of rolling around in the fresh mud come true. There is a benefit to doing this. Boryeong mud is well-known for being rich in minerals that are beneficial to the skin as well as cooling in the summer heat. The festival will help you free yourself from stress, frolic in the mud and spend carefree time with your friends.
During the festival period, there are various programs on offer that you can join! Visitors can enjoy mud wrestling, mud sliding and even swimming in the giant mud bath.
If you want to just relax or not wanting to get as muddy there are more tame activities and performances on offer. Such as the mud massage zone, special food zone, mud tram car, and yacht parade. The fun doesn’t end there though. In the evenings, K-POP performances, EDM concerts and fireworks continue the festivities to keep you excited and ready for more.
