Brand USA partners with to deliver a new way to access the best live sporting events in the USA

Brand USA, the destination marketing organisation charged with increasing tourism visitation to the United States, has revealed a new marketing campaign with in the Australian market, tapping in to the growing demand that Australian audiences are showing for a variety of U.S. sporting events.

The 12-month marketing partnership will provide consumers and travel agents easier access to historically difficult-to-purchase tickets to a range of live U.S. sporting events including American football, ice hockey, basketball, and baseball.

The newly launched website introduces a new, seamless booking method for both travel agents and consumers to access the best variety of U.S. events available. Key features include an easy to purchase live ticket inventory offering with immediate email confirmations, pricing quoted and transacted in Australian dollars, as well as a 24-hour call centre support system for consumers whilst travelling.

U.S. visitation from the Australia market is at a record-breaking high and generating repeat visitation is a key objective of Brand USA’s local marketing strategy. In announcing the new promotion, Brand USA Acting Director for Australia and New Zealand Tahnee Dobson commented “with over 1.4 million Australians now visiting the USA every year, we need to find new ways to generate ongoing excitement and a reason to return to the destination. Events are a primary motivator for Australians travelling to the USA, and this new website will make it far easier for Aussies to access U.S. sporting event experiences. It’s an exciting offering we know will impact the market.”
