Brawling bride-to-be in veil joins in-flight hen party fight

April 9, 2014 Aviation, Headline News No Comments Email Email

egtmedia59A bride, dressed in white with a veil in her hair, threw several punches as she intervened in a brawl between her two of her hen party entourage flying from Manchester to Barcelona.

Which airline did this happen on? If you guessed Ryanair, right.

The wild antics were generating lots of views on YouTube at the weekend.

Others in the hen party can be seen trying to pull two women apart as flight attendants rush up to separate the fighters. Foul language flows and one woman points at another and then argues with the bride.

The Manchester Evening News quoted passenger Tony Tickle, who shot the video, saying he heard shouting and saw two women fighting.

“Then I saw the bride run along and jump in,” Tickle told the paper. “She threw three or four punches. I grabbed my phone to get it on camera.”

Tickle, a bonsai artist flying to Barcelona for a convention, said if the same thing had happened among males on a bucks night “then we would have had a major incident and the flight would have been put on emergency and turned around”.

Tickle said it was fortunate the crew were all male “and got it under control quickly”.

Some of the women appeared to be drunk, Tickle disclosed.

What a surprise!
