egtmedia59British tour operator Thomson Airways Ltd. may add flights to Hawaii as it adds more of Boeing Co.’s 787 Dreamliners to its fleet.

Bloomberg reports Thomson Airways, based in Luton, England, and the third-largest tour operator in the United Kingdom, took delivery of the first of eight 787s last month as it prepares to retire its fleet of Boeing 767s. Bloomberg reports Jeremy Ellis, U.S. and Ireland marketing director for Thomson parent TUI Travel Plc, said the company is considering adding Hawaii, South Africa, possibly even Perth, Australia, with the Dreamliners, which can fly up to 8,200 nautical miles.

Bloomberg reports the tour operator currently plans to use the aircraft on its routes from Manchester, London Gatwick, Glasgow and East Midlands to Florida and Cancun, Mexico, starting July 8, and plans to add Mauritius in the Indian Ocean and Puerta Vallarta, Mexico in 2014.
