The Broadway Collection’s newest shows scooped the pool at the recent 73rd annual Tony Awards ceremony this week, with a total of 14 awards being presented to winning shows including Hadestown, Tootsie, The Cher Show, To Kill a Mockingbird, and Ain’t Too Proud: The Life and Times of the Temptations.

The Tony awards, which recognise theatre professionals for their achievements on stage, are often an indication of the coming US summer season’s hottest shows. This means tickets to the winning shows will be hotter than ever, and Broadway Inbound recommends clients book well in advance.

Tootsie, the new hit comedy based on the film of the same name, took home awards for Best Book and Best Leading Actor, while The Cher Show, detailing the life of the iconic star, was awarded Best Leading Actress and Best Costume Design. To Kill a Mockingbird won Best Featured Actress while Hadestown won an overwhelming eight Tony Awards including Best Musical and Best Direction, as well as Best Featured Actor in a Musical.
