Bucket list 2018: Watch the Historic Monaco Grand Prix from Star Clippers’ Royal Clipper

Shake that martini, strap on that Rolex and launch yourself into the perfect viewing platform for the Historic Monaco Grand Prix.

The annual Historic Grand Prix is a series of races featuring seven categories of historical automobiles including prewar models to vintage F1 and sports cars dating from the early 1950s to the late 1970s.

See museum-quality cars race through the Circuit de Monaco without the massive crowds usually associated with F1 events.

Star Clippers is offering a sailing departing Cannes on May 12, to coincide with the Historic Grand Prix races. The Royal Clipper will dock in Monaco May 13, offering deck-side views of the races. After this, sail on to Lerici, Sardinia and Elba in Italy; Bonifacio, Portoferraio, Palombaggia, Porticcio Beach and Ajaccio in Corsica; and, finally, back to Cannes. Priced from $3025.

If you really just want to see the F1s then cruise on the Star Flyer departing Barcelona on May 19 which stops in at Monaco on May 24 for the Grand Prix trials (From $2865) or there is the May 26 sailing which docks in Monaco May 27 for the finals from $3010.

Prices are per person twin share and includes accommodation and all meals.
