Buffalo Tours Launches New Product Range – Local Life

cats2Today, Buffalo Tours is excited to announce the launch of their newest product range, Local Life. This unique line of small group tours is unique for its offering of in-depth cultural experiences with a focus on social, environmental and cultural responsibility.

As an experiential, small-group touring product line for a maximum of 10 people, the Local Life product range provides travellers‟ the opportunity to connect with and truly discover the culture and people of Asia. Featuring authentic guided experiences into Asia‟s residential enclaves, off the beaten track destinations and lesserexplored communities, Local Life tours have a special focus on the people and personalities of Asia.

The Local Life line is also distinct in its focus on Buffalo Tours‟ commitment to social and environmental responsibility. By utilising small groups, alternative travel options like bicycles and public transportation and a commitment to building connections between locals and tourists, the Local Life tours help support and sustain the communities in which they operate. Consequently, 20-30% of sales proceeds from the Local Life product line go directly back into the locals‟ pockets, either through the support of local businesses or work with local economic initiatives.

The Local Life range features cycling journeys into rural countryside, walking excursions into little-explored residential areas, hands-on handicraft workshops with expert community members, home-cooked meals in ethnic minority villages and street eats tours sampling local culinary specialties. Within a rice field, a local wet market, a rural family home or a bustling local backstreet, a Local Life tour takes travelers beyond the highlights to discover what makes Asia tick.
