Bushfire Preparedness Tourism Industry Seminar

November 8, 2013 Association No Comments Email Email

The Tourism Industry Council NSW is hosting a seminar to assist tourism businesses and destinations on how to prepare for and manage the risks of bushfire.

Through presentations and Q&A sessions with a range of industry leaders and experts, this seminar aims to provide the industry with practical advice and information that allows tourism businesses and destinations to assess the threats, be prepared and to take preventative measures. For a detailed list of topics please click here to view the program.

The threat of bushfires can lead to a loss of income, increased insurance costs, cancellations and sales loss, cause harm to visitors and staff and destroy wildlife, the natural environment and tourism destination assets.

With continued dry conditions ahead, being better prepared for these threats makes sound business sense for you and the local visitor economy.
