Buvette Bistro & Wine Bar Celebrate Goût De France

Buvette Bistro & Wine Bar, Canberra, will be celebrating Goût de France on Wednesday March 21, by hosting a specially curated dinner with matching wines.

Goût de France (Good France) is the world’s greatest French dinner celebrating French gastronomy. Each year chefs and restaurants from around the world come together to showcase French cuisine.

For the 2018 Goût de France dinner at Buvette, Executive Chef Fabien Wagnon, who was born and raised in Northern France, will be plating up a three-course dinner with matching wines. The dinner is set to showcase what Wagnon believes to be the best of French cuisine.

Wagnon believes in keeping food pure and simple and this is demonstrated through the fresh, quality ingredients he uses to deliver Buvette’s seasonal menus.

“I like good food, I don’t like to complicate it. Good produce equals good food.” Said Wagnon.

Guests on the night will be able to choose from one of two entrees, one of two mains, one of two desserts and will finish the night with a cheese plate including local and French cheeses, quince paste and a French baguette.

Cost: $85 per guest or $110 with matching wines.
