Café 15 Unveils Summer Set Menus of International Favourites Throughout The Day at Kowloon Bay’s New Camlux Hotel

Camlux Hotel’s contemporary dining venue Café 15 has unveiled exciting summer set menus of international favourites throughout the day at Kowloon Bay’s first hotel, newly opened in a converted factory near the Kowloon Bay International Trade and Exhibition Centre (KITEC).

Zurich-trained Head Chef Harry Chan has crafted affordable menus of quality international fare for all occasions at the street-level café – from breakfast and lunch to afternoon tea and Happy Hour.

Afternoon Tea sets served from 2:30 pm – 5:30 pm are a decadent selection of cakes, pastries, sandwiches and desserts priced at HK$168 for two. Enticing treats range from Apple Crumble, Raisin Scone, American Cookie, Macaroon andBlueberry Cheese Cake to an Open-Face Sandwich, Spanish Bacon & Potato Cake, Eggs in Tomato Mayonnaise and Grilled Vegetables. A choice of coffee or tea is served in Hong Kong’s iconic ‘Camel’ vacuum flasks, stemming from Camel flasks’ original design of over 70 years history, which plays a subtle role in design features throughout the retro-modern hotel, and can be purchased exclusively at the Hotel as mementos for HK$300.

Alternative to the full afternoon tea set is a Cake Set with coffee or tea priced from just HK$48.

Happy Hour priced at HK$108 from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm daily is headlined by Spanish Tapas Platter of Spicy Red Prawn with Tomato Salsa, White Mushroom with Melted Cheese, Sautéed Potatoes and Chorizo Sausage, along with two glasses of house wine, selected beer, juices or soft drinks.

The Breakfast Buffet offers a wide range of international delicacies from 7:30 am – 10:30 am daily at HK$118. Hotel and local guests in the neighbourhood can kick-start their day with traditional English breakfast or Continental cold cuts and salads, along with a range of hot choices such as bacon, sausages, baked beans, grilled tomato, hard boiled or pan-fried eggs and more.

Lunch Sets served daily from 11:30 am – 2:30 pm feature menus changing weekly, main courses and soup of the day or farmhouse salad, complemented with coffee or tea, priced between HK$88 and HK$188 – with wine, beer, juices or dessert for just an extra HK$28. Set menus at HK$88 changes seasonally subject to ingredients supply, such as Siam Red Curry Chicken with Lemon Grass RiceIndian Chicken Madras with Steamed Rice or Grilled British Pork Sausage Baguette, topped with melted cheddar cheese, onion and bacon.

A choice of six main courses a day also ranges from Smoked Salmon Salad (HK108), Traditional Bolognese and Eggplant Lasagna (HK$118) to Italian Lunch Platter of grilled vegetables, smoked salmon, spicy prawn, grilled chicken in mini Caesar and cheese ciabatta  (HK$128), Slow Cooked Braised Ox-Tail in vintage port wine sauce with baby spinach (HK$168), Pan-Seared Rib Eye Steak  (HK$168), Butcher’s Beef Striploin with black truffle gravy and garlic mashed potato (HK$168), and Roasted Milk-Fed Lamb Rack spiced with creamed potato gratin (HK$188).

An All Day Menu also caters for all tastes, from All Day English Breakfast with coffee or tea (HK$118) and Daily Curry(HK$68) to Club Sandwich with grilled pork sausage, spicy chicken, lettuce, bacon, tomato and egg (HK$88), Buffalo Chicken Wings with fries (HK$88), Smoked Salmon and Red Prawn Pasta (HK$88) and Oven-Baked Hasselback Potatotopped with bacon and melted cheese (HK$68).

Café 15 is the signature ground floor dining venue of the pioneering hotel, the flagship of a new home-grown hospitality brand founded by Camlux Hospitality Limited.  In dashing décor with gleaming black steel and light wood natural grey tiling, Café 15 is open from 7:30 am to 8:00 pm daily.
