Café at Far Eastern Presents “Play Ground” With Colouful Desserts And Toys

Start from now to 17 August 2014, guests can experience the most fun summer vacation with their children at Café at Far Eastern (6F).

The hotel has partnered with famous toy brand “The Good toys” to build a kids’ wonderland with brain-building games, book, toys and popular cartoons.

The hotel’s chefs will also prepare a snack and dessert buffet exclusively for kids. Lunch and dinner are priced from NT$740 plus 10 percent and NT$790 plus 10 percent (children under 100cm get free access, while those standing 100cm to 130cm enjoy half price).

This is the chance for guests to taste various gourmet dishes from around the world with their families.  They will find exciting and new dishes at every station, which features different cuisines, including Chinese, Indian, Japanese and Italian.  The appetizer and salad section offer Nicoise Salad with Tuna and White Sesame, Smoked Salmon with Leek Quiche and Roasted Duck with Chili Dressing.  Other dishes served on a rotation basis include King Salmon Fillet with Sautéed Spinach and Tarragon White Wine Foam, Roasted Mushroom and Broccoli with Herb and Olive Oil, Pan-Fried Sailfish with Broccoli, Baby Carrots and Capers and Green Olive Foam, Mirin Pork Loin with Mashed Potato with Fruit Curry Sauce and Grilled U.S. Choice Beef.

At the dessert station, the award-winning pastry team offers a wide variety of desserts, including Strawberry pistachio Dacquoise, Rum raisin Pannacotta, Berries with White Wine Jelly, Almond Pineapple Cake, Strawberry Mille Feuille, Hot Almond Soup with Fritter, Pistachio Orange Chocolate, and Red Bean Ai Tsao Herb Cake.

For the special season, the chef will present a cute and attractive snake-and-dessert buffet exclusively for kids, which include French Fries, Chicken Nugget Filbert, Berry Cupcakes, Almond Danish, Chocolate Cookies, Popcorn and  Marshmallows.  Guests can share the best and sweetest time with the family for a happy summer.
