Presidents Cup officials announced today that bookings for ‘Gwen at Presidents Cup’ are now available from Saturday 7 December – Sunday 15 December.

In an Australian first, the award-winning Los Angeles restaurant by Melbourne’s Michelin-starred restauranteur Curtis Stone and his brother Luke Stone will be popping up at the 2019 Presidents Cup, where ticketholders who secure a booking will experience Stone’s European-style specialty butcher shop and fine dining restaurant in a one-of-a-kind venue at The Royal Melbourne Golf Club.

With the backdrop of the world’s best competing in the Presidents Cup at historic Royal Melbourne, guests can enjoy either a two-course lunch or three-course dinner from Stone’s curated menu, matched with premium wines carefully selected from the Yarra Valley and beer from local Victorian breweries.

In collaboration with Dean & McPherson, the 120-seat restaurant will be open from Saturday 7 December, to coincide with the Junior Presidents Cup player practice, through to the final day of competition on Sunday 15 December.

“After Luke and I debuted a pop-up Gwen at Coachella in 2018, we’ve been searching for the perfect opportunity to bring the concept to our hometown in Melbourne,” Stone said. “The Presidents Cup is a great fit.”

Guests must purchase a Presidents Cup event admission ticket through Ticketmaster in order to visit ‘Gwen at Presidents Cup’, excluding bookings made for Saturday 7 December where an event admission ticket will not be required as the the Presidents Cup event officially begins on Sunday 8 December.

“As U.S. Captain Tiger Woods says, ‘There’s nothing like being at a Presidents Cup,’ and we’re confident this new opportunity for our fans will take the Presidents Cup experience to another level.”

Dean & McPherson, a subsidiary of Moonee Valley Racing Club (MVRC), will have the opportunity to showcase their hospitality offering to domestic and international eventgoers.

“It is our mission to provide an exceptional hospitality experience to everyone that has the opportunity to attend what will be an international sporting event the likes of which Melbourne has never seen,” said MVRC CEO Michael Browell. “We are thrilled to help bring Gwen to the Presidents Cup and deliver innovative and premium hospitality options all across Royal Melbourne.”
