Since Sunday 19th April 2015, the Seychelles International airport had turned into a spectacular arena of International carnival and cultural delegations flocking in numbers to Seychelles to participate in fifth anniversary of the Seychelles Carnaval International de Victoria.
On Tuesday 21st April it was the turn of Cambodia and South Korea to show their strength, with a 28-member delegation from Cambodia and a 4-member delegation from Korea. The Cambodia delegation was the first to land in Seychelles on Tuesday 07h20 on the Air Seychelles HM 187 flight.
Welcomed by Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister for Tourism and Culture, Anne Lafortune principal secretary of tourism, Benjamine Rose the principal of culture and Sherin Naiken, the chief executive of the Seychelles Tourism Board, the head of the Cambodian delegation SOK SINARITH said it is the first time his country was participating in the Seychelles carnival and that it is an honour for him to be in Seychelles.
Korea is also keeping its footprints in Seychelles Carnaval International de Victoria. Although small in numbers with only four members, the Korean delegation is in Seychelles to fly high Korean Peninsula flag.
