Cape Kudu Hotel, Koh Yao Noi, a select member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World is the latest addition to the Cape & Kantary family. The alluring property was officially opened on the 17th of January by Thailand’s Princess Sirindhorn.

Cradled on the small island of Koh Yao Noi in the centre of Phang Nga Bay, you are surrounded by limestone islands draped in lush rain-forest and a sapphire sea where the intimate atmosphere and spacious accommodation along with exceptional service add up to an irresistible sense of comfort and serenity.

The Cape Kudu Hotel rewards you with not only luxurious rooms: Deluxe, Pool Villa, and Robinson Crusoe Suite, but with all the facilities you would expect of a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World including a fine dining restaurant, an organic garden to source some of the food and of course a five-star spa.

The ‘Hornbill’ Restaurant blends in with the local environment through its traditional and rustic appearance which contrasts with its modern Thai and international menu. Sit under the trees at breakfast and admire the views across Phang Nga Bay and sit under the stars in the quiet evening sipping your cocktail before dinner and revel in the unspoilt nature of your surroundings.

Time is on your side at Cape Kudu where you can choose to laze by the infinity pool or, to entertain you during the day, the hotel has put together a programme of exciting activities ranging from snorkelling, kayaking and excursions to other local islands, to classic car rides to private picnics and  bird-spotting. Take the opportunity to experience the vibrant culture of the local community with activities such as Batik Painting, visiting local fish farms, and watching local bouts of Muay Thai. See some of the locals at work rubber-tapping and even join them on their fishing trips and bring home your very own catch for dinner!

Koh Yao Noi may feel like miles from anywhere however it is only a short 20 minutes from Phuket International Airport to Bang Rong Pier where you can wait in the comfort of the Cape Kudu Hospitality Lounge, with complimentary refreshments, snacks, fruit, Wi-Fi, newspapers and magazines, until a speedboat is ready to ferry you on the 30-minute crossing to Manoh Pier on Koh Yao Noi. Then, after a quick 15-minute drive you arrive at the stunning Cape Kudu Hotel.
