Captain Cook Cruises has released the 2019 departure dates for its seasonal series of popular Gold Lunch cruises on Sydney Harbour. OCEAN FIZZ, a six-course celebration of sumptuous Seafood and Sparkling Wine, kicks off the series in February. Book before 30 June 2019 with any travel agent and pay only A$175 per person.

Gold Lunch cruises showcase Australia’s finest food and wine producers, all set to the spectacular background of Sydney Harbour. Following the success of the 2018 Gold Lunch cruises, CUT ABOVE and AQUA TONIC, Captain Cook Cruises has released nine new departures between February and October 2019.

Held on Sunday 24 February OCEAN FIZZ, the first Gold Lunch in the 2019 series will be hosted by Captain Cook Cruises in partnership with M&G Seafood – the leading seafood wholesaler on the eastern seaboard of Australia and Tyrrell’s Wines – one of Australia’s pre-eminent family owned wine companies since 1858.

OCEAN FIZZ will delight any seafood and wine lover featuring a mouth-watering six source menu including a premium selection of the finest seafoods and five wines selected from Tyrrell’s Pinot Brut, Chardonnay, Semillon and Shiraz and Tawny range.

2019 Gold Lunch cruise dates and menus include:

  • Sunday February 24th: OCEAN FIZZ, Seafood and Bubbles
  • Sunday March 10th: PINK GIN, Garden Harvest & Gin – Vegetarian with main course option for non-vegetarians
  • Sunday April 7th: HARBOUR SPICE, Asian Cuisine
  • Friday May 3rd: CUT ABOVE, Australian Beef & Wine
  • Sunday June 23rd: VINO BOATO, Rustic Italian Food & Wine
  • Sunday July 14th: CHRISTMASTIDE, Christmas in Winter
  • Sunday August 11th: PADDOCK & CLAW, Beef & Shellfish
  • Sunday September 1st: RIB-N-ALE, Mouth-watering BBQ basted ribs & ale (Father’s Day)
  • Sunday October 27th: AQUA TONIC, Seafood & Wine

Each Gold Lunch cruise is held onboard flagship vessel, MV Sydney 2000 and includes a mouth-watering six course menu that re-envisions some classic favourites while introducing new taste sensations paired with sophisticated wines.

Gold Lunch Series cruises are A$219 per person including a six-course menu and superior beverage selection. Book before 30 June 2019 with a local travel agent and pay only A$175 per person. Cruises depart 12 noon from King St Wharf No.1, returning at 3.30pm.
