Carlson Rezidor Hotels Group announces the appointment of Peter Feran as General Manager of Radisson Blu Plaza Bangkok, effective from 13 April 2015.

Australian native Peter Feran brings to the position extensive hospitality industry experience gained in his home country as well is in the U.K and Asia. Peter began his career in 1997 soon after receiving an advanced diploma in Business (Tourism) in South Australia. His path to general manager then proceeded with a number of Room Division positions at major international hotels, before Peter eventually joined Carlson Rezidor Hotels Group for the first time as Rooms Division Manager at Radisson Playford Adelaide. By 2010 he had risen to general manager at another Carlson Rezidor property, Radisson Hotel Brunei Darussalam. From that Southeast Asia location it was a short trip – but with nearly two decades of experience earned along the way – to Peter’s new appointment in Bangkok.

Throughout his career Peter Feran has greatly impressed colleagues with his wide-ranging knowledge of the hospitality industry as well as insights into effective management practices. Co-workers have praised him as a “constantly positive manager”, a “sheer professional”, “brilliant leader”, and as someone who “has a great drive to get things done”.

These and Peter’s many additional leadership qualities make him the right person at the right time – indeed a brilliant choice – to take the helm at Radisson Blu Plaza Bangkok. The hotel is the first Radisson Blu in the Thai capital and stands as the brand’s flagship property in Thailand.
