Carnival earned Best Cruise Line honors for consistently delivering on its brand promise to provide fun, memorable vacations at a great value. The line is committed to innovation and has rolled out a $2 billion fleet enhancement program to provide more choices across its 27 ships that carry nearly 6 million guests on 1,800 voyages annually. Carnival Cruise Line is also certified as a Great Place to Work.

For the fourth year in a row, SkyRide earned the Best Cruise Ship Feature honors. Available on Carnival Vista, Carnival Horizon and Carnival Panorama, SkyRide is a pedal-powered attraction where guests cycle their way around an 800-foot track with breathtaking views to the sea 150 feet below.

Carnival Panorama, which debuted from Long Beach, Calif., last month as the industry’s first new ship to homeport year-round on the West Coast in 20 years, was named Best New Cruise Ship. The ship offers new features such as the first Sky Zone trampoline park at sea and Carnival Kitchen, a first-in-fleet culinary studio with interactive cooking classes and demonstrations.

Carnival Sunrise was named Best Cruise Ship Refurbishment following an extensive $200 million dry dock that added all of the line’s popular dining, bar and entertainment venues including a Guy’s Pig & Anchor Barbecue eatery, Cucina del Capitano family-style Italian restaurant and a spectacular WaterWorks aqua park.

Mardi Gras, which debuts from Port Canaveral, Fla. this November, was named the Most Anticipated New Cruise Ship. The ship’s many innovations will include the first roller coaster at sea, Emeril Lagasse’s first seagoing restaurant, and six themed zones. It will also be the first ship in North America to be powered by Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG).

The ever-popular Guy’s Burger Joint earned the Best Cruise Ship Dining Venue award. Created in tandem with Food Network star chef and longtime Carnival partner Guy Fieri, the free-of-charge eatery boasts hand-crafted burgers, fresh-cut fries and a loaded toppings bar. Guy’s Pig & Anchor Smokehouse Brewhouse on Carnival Horizon and Carnival Panorama took second place, as well.
