Carnival Legend gets ready to join the Carnival Spirit of Australia

Carnival Legend has begun her two week drydock in Freeport in the Bahamas but everyone onboard has Australia on their mind. Legend’s ‘Aussification’ – with everything from Aussie power points and Aussie coffee to Waterworks featuring the amazing Green Thunder waterslide, which did so much to make Carnival Spirit such a hit Down Under.

CARNIVAL LEGEND IN DRY DOCK Carnival Legend is due to arrive here on September 22 to join Carnival Spirit cruising to the South Pacific from Sydney. Thanks to Spirit, the local Carnival Cruise Lines team has learned a lot about how Aussies like to cruise – “no iced tea thank you but we just love Green Thunder.” Among the other great features Carnival Legend is getting in dry dock are the Caribbean-inspired Red Frog Pub, seafood-and-soy-sauce dining amid perfectly pruned bonsai trees in Bonsai Sushi and the candy-and-more store Cherry on Top. No doubt, Carnival Legend is already feeling a little like an Aussie as her drydock progresses.
