CATO Brisbane meeting

CATO (Council of Australian Tour Operators) held its annual Brisbane meeting at Aria Restaurant overlooking the Brisbane River yesterday.

AFTA general manager accreditation Gary O’Riordan was the keynote speaker outlining the new travel accreditation scheme that comes into effect on 1st July 2014.

“CATO has been working closely with AFTA to input to the new accreditation scheme and our members were pleased to have the opportunity yesterday to ask questions,” CATO general manager Peter Baily said.

“CATO is very supportive of the new scheme and our members yesterday were encouraged by Gary O’Riordan’s update.”

The CATO meeting also saw the induction of new CATO member Touch of Spirit Tours specialising in selling India.
