The largest airline in the Philippines, Cebu Pacific Air (PSE: CEB), is celebrating its first year in Australia by launching an exciting seat sale to the Philippines until 13 September 2015.
AUD$125 one-way fares are available for travel between 1 January and 15 November 2016.
This exciting sale commences after CEB’s anniversary, 9 September, giving Aussie travellers the opportunity to plan their island getaways. Quoted fares are inclusive of country taxes and fees, but are exclusive of travel products such as meals or baggage allowance.
The Philippines is famous for its fabulous tropical beauty, boasting some of the longest white sand coastlines in the world. Whether travellers are looking to soak up the grandeur of Manila, or go beyond and explore the Philippines’ many islands, CEB opens up an array of these unique destinations via Manila Airport’s spacious Terminal 3 and 4. With convenient onward connections to 33 other domestic destinations, CEB is the gateway to the Philippines.
CEB General Manager for Long-Haul Division, Alex Reyes, said: “Cebu Pacific has achieved great success since we launched non-stop flights to Australia. We continue to see the market grow as more and more Australians discover the fun Philippines.”
The airline has also partnered with the Tourism Philippines: Australia and New Zealand, by giving away a trip to the Philippines. The contest will run until 25 September, with a lucky fan winning a trip for four from Sydney to any destination in the Philippines, inclusive of air fare and four nights hotel stay, among others. It is open to residents in Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney and Auckland.
Philippine Department of Tourism Australia and New Zealand Tourism Attaché Consuelo Jones congratulated the airline on its first anniversary of operations in Sydney. “Cebu Pacific’s presence in this market has helped increase awareness and boost tourism arrivals to the Philippines. We wish them many years of success,” she said.
