Just in time for Christmas, Cebu Pacific has announced the beginning of direct flights between Manila and the surfing hotspot of Siargao, with year-round fares from Sydney starting at $384.

From December 17, 2017 – March 24, 2018, the leading Philippine low-cost carrier will be operating six direct non-stop flights between Manila and Siargao. Travelling to Siargao is even more convenient for Australians thanks to Cebu Pacific’s nonstop Sydney – Manila service. Once landing in Manila, passengers can seamlessly travel onto a variety of island destinations utilising Cebu Pacific’s extensive network.

Over the festive period from now until 31 January 2018, Cebu Pacific is also operating daily flights between Sydney – Manila, so there’s never been a better time for travellers to treat themselves to an exotic Christmas getaway which won’t break the budget.

Siargao, regarded as the surfing capital of the Philippines, is a hidden gem that is the perfect destination for backpackers and adventure enthusiasts. Iconic surfing hotspots include Cloud 9 that has the reputation as the best surfing break in the Philippines, which is also home to domestic and international surf competitions. Non-surfers can relax and unwind at the resorts on offer, or jump on a boat and island hop their way through Siargao and surrounds.
