In recognition of Bastille Day and the Tour de France, the Realm Precinct’s Buvette and Ostani will be saying ‘oui oui’ to their inner Francophile.
Anyone wishing to mark the French National Day can celebrate at Buvette with the Bastille Day Petit Feast on Sunday 9 July or with a Truffle Dinner on Thursday 14 July.
Guests at the Bastille Day Petit Feast will be greeted with a glass of champagne on arrival before enjoying savouries, charcuterie, cheeses and a selection of delicious desserts. While being entertained by the live French accordion player, guests can treat themselves to a drink from the Piper-Heidsiek pop-up bar or purchase a Bloody Mary or bottomless glass of Mimosas.
For just $75 per head, the Bastille Day Truffle Dinner will be a feast for the senses and a chance to enjoy one of the world’s most acclaimed gastronomic delights. Each of the set menu courses features truffle including duck liver parfait on truffle brioche, gruyere and truffle soufflé, wagyu beef bourguignon with truffle jus, and truffled crème brûlée with vanilla truffle ice cream. Guests will also be treated to Buvette’s signature cocktail, the Lillet Mode de Vie, and a complimentary amouse bouche.
If one night of truffles isn’t enough, Buvette is holding a Truffle Festival throughout the winter months. Using truffles sourced from the highly-respected The Truffle Farm in Mount Majura, the Buvette chefs have carefully curated a menu showcasing this sought after delicacy.
Selected French beverages have been sourced and are available throughout July at Ostani. Every purchase from this special French beverage menu will give guests the chance to win a Trek road bike valued at over $3,000.
Why not sit back and enjoy a French beverage while catching up with friends and all the action from the Tour de France, which will be televised at Ostani.
So Vive Le France in July and head to the Realm Precinct for a taste of all things French. C’est magnifique!!
