During the weeklong National Day Holiday in October 2016 and the three-day New Year Holiday 2017, several theme parks in Guangdong, including Guangzhou Chimelong, Shenzhen Overseas Chinese Town and Zhuhai Chimelong, ranked among China’s top 10 theme parks in terms of tourist flow, with Guangzhou Chimelong ranking in at number one.
During the Chinese New Year, starting from January 28, 2017, these theme parks will roll out special activities to attract tourists from around the world.
The Guangzhou Chimelong Safari Park will launch a new program that allows tourists to observe wild animals in the air above the park. Zhuhai Chimelong Ocean Kingdom will have a Chinese White Dolphin Show during the holiday. Apart from these, a series of awesome light shows, laser shows and the Chinese New Year Countdown fireworks show will be presented to create a dynamic visual feast combining sound, light, music and water. Whether from China or other parts of the world, tourists can have loads of fun by embracing the New Year of the Rooster together.
Shenzhen Window of the World will hold a series of activities under the theme “Carnival of Five Continents, Splendor of Chinese New Year”. Foshan Chuanlord Holiday Manor will roll out a fantasy light festival, while Heyuan Bavaria Manor will host a Sino-German cultural carnival.
