Guests can enjoy festive set lunch and dinner menus running for the month of December, a special turkey-filled Christmas brunch and delectable 5-course Christmas dinner menus. For those looking to get together with friends, family or colleagues, The Optimist will be serving Festive Lunch (available Monday toFriday) and Festive Dinner Menus from 1 to 30 December. Perfect for large groups and hungry bellies, set menu options range from HKD248 to HKD448 per person for lunch, and HKD450 to HKD850 per person for dinner. Optimist favourites made for sharing include the juicy Gambas “A La Plancha”, Whole Grilled Turbot “Guetaria” (traditionally grilled as it would be from the Spanish coastal town) and a whopping 2kgs of Angus beef Tomahawk Steak. For the “dulce” finale, desserts include homemade Strawberry Cheesecake, Caramelized Fran and chef’s signature dessert, Alfredo’s Warm Apple Pie.
The Optimist’s Christmas Brunch promises a feast of semi-buffet delights including a special roast turkey, followed by endless small dishes, mains and desserts brought to the table. Hard at work in the kitchen, Chef Alfredo will be basting his turkey to golden roasted perfection. Guests can enjoy the Christmas brunch on 24 and 25 December at the restaurant’s usual brunch price of HKD348 per person, with additional free-flow Prosecco, sangria, wine and beer for HKD180 per person.
For an extra special treat on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, join the asador family for an indulgent 5-course Christmas Menu of the restaurant’s signatures, grilled seafood and steak dishes. The crafted festive menu includes the Grilled Galician Octopus, Clams “Almejas en Salsa Verde”, Wild Monkfish and Spanish fillet Chateaubriand. In Spanish festive spirit, Chef Alfredo’s “dulce” selection will include the “Turrón de Navidad”, a traditional Christmas dessert of sweet nougat, honey and roasted almonds. Suitable for groups small or large, the Christmas Menu is available to book in advance for HKD688 per person.
Free-flow packages to fuel the merriment through the month of December range from HKD240 to HKD450 per person for 2 hours of bottomless glasses. Varying packages include champagne, prosecco, house spirits, wine and beer.
