Aberdeen Street Social is celebrating the start of summer in true British fashion, offering a series of sizzling lunch specials starting on 19 June.
Brits missing their local “Chippy” this summer will be happy to learn that Aberdeen Street Social will be carrying out the tradition of “Fish Fridays” starting on Friday, 19 June. Chef Chris Whitmore will be serving Beer battered snapper and triple cooked chips with minted peas and homemade tartar sauce (HK$215) at lunch in addition to the regular menu items. The fish & chips will be available a la carte in both the upstairs restaurant and the downstairs bar & bistro through the summer.
Also, starting 22 June guests dining at the downstairs bar & bistro can enjoy the “Summer Set” which, for an additional HK$50, treats them to a glass of red, white or rose wine, or a beer or detox juice as well as a delicious Carrot Cake or JAAL chocolate cake when ordering any item off the downstairs bistro menu (offer is not valid with Bar Snacks). Guests can enjoy popular warm weather dishes on the downstairs menu including the light and fresh Grilled peach, smoked mozzarella and balsamic vinegar (HK $108), the Lobster salad, brioche roll and French fries (HK $218) and the Summer minestrone soup, asparagus, tomato and pasta (HK$78).
Lunch goers can also choose to enjoy Aberdeen Street Social’s Lunch Social menu, a set lunch at the upstairs restaurant which changes monthly and currently features delicious dishes such as the Cured mackerel, BBQ cucumber, avocado, radish and Slow cooked duck leg, cherry, onion jam. The Lunch Social is priced at HK$238 for two courses and HK$288 for three.
