Celebrity Cruises Bids Farewell to Australia’s Favourite Ship for Another Summer

With Australia’s favourite cruise ship*, Celebrity Solstice, bidding farewell to our shores this Saturday 9 April 2016, Celebrity Cruises is already looking forward to welcoming her back for the 2016/17 summer season. To celebrate another bumper season, Celebrity Cruises is offering $200 per person off new bookings made between 9 and 22 April 2016 on most Celebrity Solstice 2016/17 summer sailing.

The Farewell Sale is also combinable with Celebrity Cruises’ Go Big, Better, Best promotion which offers new Oceanview bookings and abovemade by 1 May 2016 a free upgrade from Celebrity’s standard Go Big price tier (that makes you eligible for one complimentary onboard extra) to the superior Go Better package that gives guests a choice of two complimentary extras on their cruise. New Suite Class bookings will receive all four extras for free.  Guests can choose from a free beverage package, complimentary gratuities, US$150 per person onboard credit or complimentary unlimited internet.

Fares start from $1,799/NZ$1989 per person for an Oceanview stateroom, including the $200 discount, for nine-night South Pacific voyage onboard Celebrity Solstice. Departing 25 March 2017, the sailing calls at Isle Of Pines, New Caledonia; Mystery Island, Vanuatu; Lifou, Loyalty Island and Noumea, New Caledonia. Guests who book before 1 May 2016, will also have a choice of two out of the four bonus onboard extras: free beverage package, complimentary gratuities, US$150 per person onboard credit or complimentary unlimited internet.

Celebrity Solstice departs Sydney on Saturday 9 April for her repositioning cruise to Hawaii. From there, she will continue on her way to her winter home offering a range of Alaskan sailings from Seattle. Celebrity Solstice will return down under in September, arriving home to Sydney on 8 October 2016. For her fifth local season, Australia’s highest rated cruise ship^ will offer a range of seven- to 18-night itineraries to Australia, New Zealand, the South Pacific and Asia, departing from Auckland, Sydney and Perth.
