Central Group stimulating the economy mid-year by holding “The Greatest Grand Sale 2015” nationwide

The Central Group is holding “The Greatest Grand Sale 2015” to create the greatest discount campaign in history in Thailand. It is offering discounts at every shopping center and every department store under the Central Group, with up to 80% discounts from stores and product brands in a total of 58 branches of Central Group’s shopping centers and department stores nationwide. A special promotion for the tourist is: ‘spend 2,000 THB gets free a “CLUTCH ON SALE” valued 500 THB * when shop at CentralWorld, CentralPlaza and CentralFestival.’AW_CPN_SALE_A5_ENG version

The Greatest Grand Sale is being held from 9th June – 19th July 2015 at CentralWorld shopping center, all CentralPlaza, CentralFestival, Central Department stores, ZEN Department store and selected Robinson Department stores. 

Dr. Nattakit, Executive Vice President of Marketing of Central Pattana plc (CPN), stated: “The current overall economy of Thailand is on an upward trend when compared to the beginning of the year. We can see positive signals from the numbers of foreign tourists visiting Thailand and their increasing spending during their trips to Thailand especially from Chinese, Malaysian and Korean tourists. This is due to the global market situation, the peace within the country and the weakness of the Thai baht. Consumer confidence in the country remains at an acceptable level and there are quite a lot of public holidays in the middle of the year, which is encouraging Thai consumers to spend more money.

“To encourage more spending and to enhance value for consumers, the companies under Central Group are joining hands to hold ‘The Greatest Grand Sale 2015’campaign, offering up 80% in discounts throughout 41days at 58 Central Group shopping centers and department stores nationwide. The Central Group is also collaborating with our business partners from various industries such as MasterCard credit card, AEON Card and Toyota to provide benefits on top of the campaign. This is a great opportunity for tourist to get special prize products. The campaign is expected to increase the traffic in Central Group shopping centers by 20%-30%. This year, the campaign has a very convenient and simple procedure on prize redemption. The customers only have to collect their receipts and submit them at the prize redemption centers in the participating shopping centers and department stores.” It is believed that the campaign will create over 12 billion baht in cash flow.

The 1 Card members can also make a reservation at Centara Hotels & Resorts with up to 80% discounts starting with redemptions from 1,500 points. These offers are exclusively for The 1 Card members only. Customers may receive 10% in discounts at restaurants in the CRG group with 10 points redemption or starting with 400 points, customers can redeem free delicious dishes or specially-priced dishes from over 12 popular brands such as Mister Donut, KFC, Auntie Anne’s, Pepper Lunch, Chabuton, Cold Stone, Ryu, The Terrace, Ootoya, Yoshinoya, Tenya and Katsuya in every CentralPlaza shopping center nationwide.”
