Tetherow Resort in Bend this summer will finish work on a new pool area, fitness center and event pavilion perfect for weddings and other large functions. Last summer, Sunriver Resort opened The Cove outdoor swimming area along with three completely renovated and renamed restaurants on site. Also, Black Butte Ranch near Sisters opened a massive new pool, fitness center and bistro with unparalleled views of the majestic Cascade mountains. Meanwhile, Riverhouse on the Deschutes in the heart of Bend is finishing up a complete remodel/rebrand that included renovating all of the guest rooms and pool and creating a new, modern restaurant called Currents. In downtown Bend, McMenamins has added 41 new rooms to its unique and historic Old St. Francis School campus that also includes multiple pubs, a restaurant, movie theater and Turkish soaking pool.
We’re excited to launch a new direct flight between RDM and PHX this summer, and we’re sure many Arizonians will want to beat the heat and take advantage of our new state-of-the-art natural whitewater park on the Deschutes River in the Old Mill District. Just up the street, Bend Parks and Rec this winter opened a new full-sized ice rink that’s transformed into a pickle ball facility during the summer.
