egtmedia59Under the theme “Bangkok Bank brings Asia to Myanmar” there was a high-powered recent international investment seminar in Yangon on July 17-19 that has brought together more than 100 participants from 10 economies all over Asia.

The successful event was staged at the prestigious and pristine Chatrium Hotel Royal Lake Yangon and featured distinguished government officials and local experts from a wide range of industries, and connected Asian investors with local businessmen.

Concerning this event, GM May Myat Mon Win remarked that Chatrium Hotel Royal Lake Yangon plans more events of this nature, helping Myanmar businesses prepare for the challenges and opportunities ahead in Myanmar. Thus, the 5-star Chatrium Hotel is well placed to a leading hotel in Yangon for the lucrative Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, and Exhibitions (MICE) market.

As part of the ongoing commitment to upgrade the hotel’s facilities to meet the needs of the MICE industry, the hotel is currently in the process of establishing the new Car Park Building, which will eventually add greater value to the hotel and more convenience for the guests.

Actually, the contemporary and spacious accommodation is of the utmost quality, offering state-of-the-art in-room technology. Dining is crafted for every taste at any time of the day with a convenient choice of restaurants and bars, whilst the spa and fitness center provide respite for mind, body and soul. The wide range of facilities ideally caters to meetings and events, from small scale conferences to grander occasions (up to 450 guests).

Especially two new openings come in mind, when talking about the Chatrium Hotel Royal Lake Yangon, namely the newly designed Kohaku (“Amber”) Restaurant, which is very modern in style with a traditional Japanese touch, as well as the newly re-branded Club Rizzoli with a fresh theme and new menu that started in June 2014.

Next to the Tiger Hill Chinese Restaurant and the Emporia all day dining at ground level, the new Kohaku Japanese Restaurant is located at the lobby level, where only the finest locally sourced and imported ingredients for each created dish are selected, offering full choices from appetizers, sushi, sashimi and desserts. The restaurant can accommodate up to 112 people for lunch and dinner and includes two separate private rooms, which can be combined to serve up to 16 people.

Club Rizzoli at the ground level, which is open daily from 7pm to 1.30am, is a private and exclusive venue with 4 VIP Karaoke rooms. Sake lovers now have the choice of dozens of different types of drink at the lounge bar. Cocktails and wines of the month become favorites. There is a daily “Happy Hour” until 10pm and complimentary WiFi.

Furthermore, Chatrium Hotel Royal Lake Yangon now offers 11 flavors of “Moon Cakes” in special gift boxes during the upcoming Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival period, a perfect gift for your business partners, friends, family and loved ones.
