Sodashi by Megan Larsen has successfully led the way in chemical-free skin care, harnessing the benefits of plant essences to formulate luxurious high-performance products and spa treatments. Sodashi, meaning “wholeness, purity and radiance” in ancient Sanskrit, is now incorporated into the treatment menu and rituals at CHI, The Spa at Shangri-La Hotel, Sydney.

Treatment additions at CHI, The Spa include Sodashi’s signature experiences: the Thermal Infusing Facial which ensures a youthful glow to the skin; and the firming and fragrant Refining Body Toner; both perfectly suited for the visitors to the signature day spa. The Body Balance Salt Glow treatment incorporates Himalayan salts and warm soothing oils to relieve stress, fatigue and gently restimulate the body’s circulation.

Sodashi Founder Megan Larsen said, “We are delighted to be launching in to CHI, The Spa at Shangri-La Hotel, Sydney, a beautiful location in the heart of the city.  The Spa will offer guests an authentic Sodashi experience that will deliver great results and is chemical free”.

CHI, The Spa has garnered numerous awards since its launch in 2010 including the most recent, “Best Hotel Spa in Australasia and the South Pacific” at the 2012 Conde Nast Traveller, Reader Spa awards.

CHI features six luxurious private spa suites and offers guests 17 treatments consisting of body massages, scrubs, wraps, facials and movement of the mind through relaxation to assist the body’s natural renewal, and form the basis of the CHI philosophy.  Each of the six suites is a “spa within a spa” to indulge in the luxury of personal space, providing guests with their own private changing area and for some, an aroma steam shower to enjoy before treatments.
