Today, China Eastern Airlines began new direct service between Chicago O’Hare International Airport and Shanghai Pudong International Airport.
The airline schedule will provide for one flight daily on a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.
China Eastern flight MU717 departs Shanghai at 11:40 a.m. and arrives in Chicago at 12:40 p.m. Flight MU718 departs from Chicago at 2:50 p.m. and arrives Shanghai at 7:10 p.m. the following day.

China Eastern Airlines is the first China-based carrier to offer direct service between Chicago and Shanghai.
