China Southern Airlines Hosts 2015 Vancouver Roadshow

Starting with a moving montage of images that brought the destinations of Guangzhou and Vancouver to life, Mr. Louis Lu, China Southern Managing Director Australia & New Zealand presented the airlines services, including the frequency of flights from all major capital cities of Australia to Guangzhou, and the daily B787 Dreamliner service to Vancouver from Guangzhou. 

“Australians love to travel and China Southern Airlines has the most developed route network anywhere in Asia”, said Mr. Lu. “Our service is one of high quality and exceptional hospitality but also provides an affordable way to travel. Our daily B787 Dreamliner service to Vancouver is an increasingly important part of China Southern Airlines services and it is a very easy connection for all Australian flights into Guangzhou.”

Key highlights included the 72 hour free visa for Australians, the famous Canton cuisine of Guangzhou and the spectacular scenery of Vancouver. 

China Southern Airlines currently offers direct flights in low season on A330-200/300 aircraft to Sydney (14 per week), Melbourne (10 per week) and Brisbane (five per week). It also operates 14 weekly flights to Auckland and three times per week to Perth, both on the Boeing 787 Dreamliner. 


In high season, China Southern Airlines offers direct flights on A330-200/300 aircraft to Melbourne (14 per week) and Brisbane (seven per week). Sydney is serviced on A330-200/300 and A380 (14 per week); it also operates 14 weekly flights to Auckland and five times per week to Perth, both on the Boeing 787 Dreamliner . 

For the month of June, China Southern Airlines has partnered with Web jet to offer travellers a sale on their flights to Vancouver. $50 off return economy flights and $200 return business or first class flights, for an even more affordable way to travel.
