China Southern Airlines Unveils New Route To Nairobi To Open Further African Connections From August 2015

China Southern Airlines will launch a thrice-weekly, non-stop service between its base in Guangzhou (CAN) and Nairobi, Kenya (NBO), from August 5th 2015.http://www.itcma.com/

The new route will serve as an extremely important link in connecting passengers on Asian Pacific flights to the greater African region, and will be operated by the Airbus A330-200.

Passengers travelling from Australia, Japan, Korea, Southeast Asia or major Chinese cities, will have seamless connections to Nairobi within four hours (both ways). The Nairobi route will also enable passengers of China Southern Airlines to connect to Dar Es Salaam, Entebbe, Johannesburg and other major cities in Africa.

The Nairobi route also has a complimentary baggage allowance across all classes with 32kg three pieces for First Class, 32kg two pieces for Business Class and 23kg two pieces for Premium Economy and Economy passengers.

Kenya has a wealth of natural wonders and attractions including Mount Kilimanjaro, the Masai Mara National Reserve, the East African Great Rift Valley, Amboseli National Park and Lake Nakuru.

As the third largest airline in the world and the largest in Asia by passenger numbers, China Southern Airlines has been expanded at a rapid rate from 10 million passengers in 1994 to 101 million in 2014.
