China Southern’s newest Airbus aircraft touched down in Sydney for the first time this morning, continuing a major upgrade of the airline’s Australian fleet.

Offering fully flat beds in Business Class and personal TVs in all classes, the A330-323 will bring enhanced comfort to China Southern’s morning service into Sydney.

The new aircraft offers 30 flat-bed seats in Business Class, 48 seats in Premium Economy and 197 seats in the Economy cabin along with the latest in inflight entertainment and generous seat space throughout.

Its deployment brings Sydney into line with recent aircraft upgrades on Brisbane and Perth routes, where China Southern’s latest A330-200 aircraft now provide regular direct services from Guangzhou.

The fleet modernisation will continue with a new A330-300 also coming onto the Guangzhou-Melbourne run later this year and one of China Southern’s five A380 superjumbos flying into Sydney from October 28.

China Southern offers a range of highly competitive fares to China and beyond on its Canton Route to almost 200 destinations around the world.
