China World Hotel, Beijing announces the appointment of Johan Chan as director of sales and marketing. Reporting directly to Vice President and General Manager Christopher Chia, Mr. Chan will be responsible for overseeing the sales and marketing strategies for China World Hotel, Beijing.
Hailing from Hong Kong, Mr Chan is a veteran in the hospitality industry. He has nearly 30 years of working experience in various high-profile luxury hotels, including 20 years at Shangri-La properties throughout Hong Kong, Malaysia, Thailand and mainland China. He is no stranger to China World Hotel, Beijing, where he was posted from 2002 to 2004. Prior to re-joining the Beijing hotel, he was director of sales and marketing at Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok.
