China World Hotel, Beijing Offers Weekend Brunch At Aria
The award-winning Aria established its impeccable reputation over 17 years and continues to distinguish itself as purveyors of contemporary Western cuisine with a five-course weekend brunch menu that reflect Chef de Cuisine Maiker Valdivia’s traditional Spanish cooking technique and his passion for using simple ingredients and local resources.
Chilean-born Chef Valdivia brings to Aria more than 10 years of experience in the culinary arts gained from working in San Sebastián, a Spanish coastal city in the Basque Autonomous Community that is renowned for its Basque cuisine. It is the second city with the most Michelin stars per capita in the world, only behind Kyoto, Japan.
Chef Maiker has been in China for four years, of which two years were spent in Beijing as an executive chef at a well-known Spanish restaurant. Prior to China, Chef Maiker served at many well-established restaurants in Spain, including the Mirador de Ulia, a Michelin-starred restaurant in Donostia, San Sebastián.
