A pioneer in global wellness, Chiva-Som is pleased to announce the promotion of Sinchai Srivipa to the position of Executive Chef ahead of the resort’s reopening following extensive renovations on 15 October 2019. As Executive Chef, Chef Sinchai will oversee the creative direction of Chiva-Som’s cutting-edge wellness cuisine.

Chef Sinchai begins his new role following an already illustrious career as Sous Chef at Chiva Som. Since joining the team at Chiva-Som in 2009, he has participated in a number of high-profile events hosted in world famous restaurants such as Mosimann’s in London in 2010. He also participated in the Louis Vuitton’s ‘Catwalk to Closet’ 2011 Event in London. Later, he travelled with this same event to China, Taiwan and Australia. 

Chiva-Som will be reopening on 15 October 2019 following the fourth and final stage of its extensive renovation program resulting in a complete overhaul of the resort. Latest updates include a complete reworking of the resort’s seaside restaurant Taste of Siam. Reservations are available to book from 15 October 2019.
